In-Clinic Research Funding And Exhibition Announcements
We’re delighted to announce that our study within NHS clinics will start in the Autumn of this year. This study will create the most powerful evidence base in the history of prosthetic socket design and research the feasibility of using our predictive models to support the fitting process.
Support for this grant comes from the UK Government through the Innovate UK Biomedical Catalyst grant, in a highly competitive process with a 5% success rate, Orthopaedic Research UK through the Ronald Furlong Fund, and a group of private investors. We are also lucky to be supported by our fantastic partners at the University of Southampton, NHS England, SETsquared, and the Alex Lewis Trust.
This is a fantastic opportunity to explore how this entirely new approach to prosthetic design will work in a clinical setting, and we cannot wait to get started and share the results with you.
After successfully launching our first software version at OTWorld, we are excited to be heading to the AOPA National Convention in San Antonio at the end of September. We look forward to meeting many of you in person!
We will be exhibiting our full ‘design studio’ where, as well as designing devices, you can visualise your past work and use this to support your design for achieving optimal fit for future patients.
Come and visit us at our exhibitor stand (941) to have a go yourself on our ‘design studio’ where you can visualise how you design sockets.
We are presenting “Extracting meaningful data from your digital workflows’ within the Digital O&P Care education track on Friday, September 30th at 11:30 am.
We are delighted to participate in the Digital O&P Showcase on Saturday, October 1st, Noon-2:00 pm, a hands-on event where attendees can have a go on a number of different digital offerings working from the same O&P patient case information.
We hope to see you there and feel free to schedule an in-person meeting with us below:
Keep in touch as we move into this new busy and exciting chapter for more in-clinic study developments, insights into our clinical road map as it evolves, and ahead of our upcoming trip to AOPA. You can also check out our website which we are continually developing and updating.
Thanks for reading! As always please get in touch with any thoughts or feedback and feel free to share with any colleagues or friends who might be interested.
We hope to see you all soon.
