It was a pleasure to meet so many of you at the AOPA National Assembly. Whether you came to our exhibition stand, attended the digital showcase, or shared a table with us at lunch, it was a privilege to discuss how we can work together to achieve the best clinical outcomes. See some of our highlights below:
The digital showcase was a hands-on session for clinicians to experience many digital tools to support their workflows, with the same patient cases, and compare and contrast the different approaches:
Fantastic to discuss with so many clinicians about their practices and the value of capturing and learning from data to support device fit and comfort for patients.
Exciting new ideas for applications of our tools, in particular around visualising limb volume change and using this to support reimbursement. Do get in contact if you find this of interest and have thoughts!
Met other companies in the industry who are developing scanning and manufacturing technologies which can complement our tools.
Our CEO, Joshua Steer, presented in the Digital O&P Education session, โExtracting meaningful data from your digital workflowsโ:
The talk covered the history of digital technologies in the industry, the research background of our technology, existing applications of how it has already been applied, the challenges that a data-driven approach to O&P fitting could help solve, and the steps Radii is taking to achieve this.
There was a vibrant Q&A discussion regarding the considerations required when integrating these technologies within a clinical practice.
If you missed this, you can catch the recording here.
Demonstrating the Radii Design Platform at our exhibition stand:
Over 30 clinicians came to chat with us. They used our tools to design a transtibial socket and explored how it compared to others at the conference.
There were stimulating discussions of what you are doing with both traditional and digital workflows, helping us to align our tools to support your goals.
We were excited to work with clinicians who are now starting to manufacture transtibial sockets for their patients. See more belowโฆ
To influence where we go next, we are looking for clinicians to design and manufacture a transtibial socket using our platform (free of charge with full support and no future obligation).
